Raw Food Cinnamon Bun Recipe

It’s easy craving for sugar and sweets when caught up in a stressful environment. However, we all know it ain’t the best solution to buy the traditional pastries or candies every day. Here is a yummie recipe for a healthier version of the Nordic delicate pastry: Cinnamon Buns.


Recipe:

Dough

15 Pitted Dates

0,5 L Almond Flour

2 DL Oats

3 table 🥄 of Coconut Oil

3 table 🥄 of Water

A pinch of Sea Salt

A pinch of Vanilla Powder

A pinch of Cardamom

What to do:

Mix all the ingredients in a blender so that it becomes a dough. If needed, add more water. Roll out the dough on baking paper.

Filling:

15 dates

1 DL raisins or cranberries

2 table 🥄 of coconut oil

0,5 DL water

1 table 🥄 of cinnamon

A pinch of sea salt

(Add a tea 🥄 of some instant coffee if you like!)

What to do:

Mix everything in a blender, add more water if needed. Spread out the filling on top of the ‘dough’ and finally roll everything together into a “Swiss roll”. Cut small pieces out of the roll, and you have your healthy cinnamon bun! 😊

Keep cold in the fridge!
